Waves. After preparing the pattern for ox_wear for the SS 2016 collection, I had oportunity to design the catalog to the same collection. When I have received the outcome of the photoshoot I just knew what colour should be the main character in this story called WAVES.
Cover. I just simply have fallen in love with those nostalgic photos of young Adrianna, so I have made her the cover face ???? I had had in my mind the main concept to somehow join the photos with this gorgeous tone of deep, dark blue and the illustrations that are the base motive of the collection.
The title. I have always adored the combination of blue shades with gold. Although it is not common to use such combination in the field of products for kids, I think that in this case gold, hot stamping title has added some kind of summer, beach feeling to the printed catalog. I admit, it’s a quite expensive method, but sometimes the outcome is worth it ???? The catalog has been printed by Cracow well known in graphic world printing studio Kolory.
Insert. Inside I have mixed photoshoot with a few short texts and packshots of the clothes. I have also used the print on the tissue paper to emphasize the effect of the sea, transparency, see through the water and all these kind of associations.
